Okay, so it's official ... Christmas break is over! :(
But Laci and I had some good times, and we did a lot. Here's a list of movies we watched: Eagle Eye, Almost Famous, Bride Wars, The Holiday, Across the Universe, Knocked Up, Marley and Me, Raising Helen, The Women, Yesman, and I saw Valkyrie with my family on Christmas day. I love good movies! We went shopping in Dallas twice. We went to all of her brother's basketball games, and almost slapped a slutty cheerleader in the back of the head. "TRASH!" haha. On our way to one of them Laci's dad decided to share this little tidbit with us ... "The only way to stop it is to grab it by its neck and squeeze it!" hahah!
Today, Laci and I went to Lucy Park and had a blast. It was so nice outside; we fed the ducks, which was a huge obstacle for me, haha. (I don't like birds, or anything of the sort ... the bigger the nastier they are to me!) Then we walked to the falls to take some pictures. We didn't see any bums thank goodness! It's weird because we didn't realize all the memories we both had of that park from over the years. So many different things came to mind for both of us while we were there. It was fun and we're going to try to make an effort to go out there more often! When we left there we went to sonic and got coke floats! Today was the best day of the break, Thank you Lord for the beautiful day today!
The last and most important thing we did over this break was have a bonfire. Well, a bonfire as in my fireplace haha. This past December marked an anniversary of 2 years for me ... yes, ME. So Laci and I had an idea to "rid" ourselves of the past completely. WE both accumulated a lot of things from past relationships over the years, and for some reason never gotten rid of it. So we thought it would be best to get rid of all of it! I cleaned out my room and she cleaned out hers. We gathered everything from their belongings, pictures, things they had given us, cds, and anything that reminded us of them. Except, we're kinda dramatic and not afraid to admit it ... we wanted to burn everything that we could. So, we did! haha And the things we couldn't necessarily burn we "disposed of." We recorded the whole thing too ... needless to say, our mother's loved it! I thank God for putting this girl in my life :)
I guess that's it for now.
School starts in approx. 35 hours and it's going to be a long winter/spring for me!
